Dude, I was seriously thinking about you yesterday. I was thinking of all the bloggers I enjoy reading but hadn't heard from in a while. Then I checked my Google Reader today and lo and behold...there's a post! Nice job with the biking in place of running until you can get back to it.

1. Thanks for posting
2. We love love love listening to Dave Ramsey. We haven't done the course, though, but love his advice. Except for the one day I told my wife I was going to go buy running shoes at a real running store, got in the car, and Dave was on. I still bought the shoes, but felt guilty.
3. Bluegrass rocks! My wife took me to a wicked awesome concert a few years back featuring some of the artists from O Brother Where Art Thou (Down From the Mountain tour). Yea, some of them were more hip/modern, but the highlight was seeing/hearing Ralph sing. Best concert ever.

Hey, good to hear you're still kickin'. I'm running in Dallas this week. Actually here for work, but got out for a great run last night and again this morning. The humidity was a shocker, though. It's humid in Kansas, but not for a couple of months yet.

Blessings to your family.

Good start back on the run. I don't think walking is bad unless it interrupts a rhythm you have going. Some people can do the run 5 minutes / walk 1 minute with great success. I've found that if I stop, I have trouble restarting. So I just keep running unless I think I am about to pass out or will be unable to make it back to my car. The walking desire usually passes after I ask myself why I want to walk. When you get the urge to walk maybe you could try slowing your running pace.

Thanks for your concern, Topher. It makes all the difference in the world knowing he was a Christian. He'll be missed, but he's left a great legacy. I married into a great family.

Way to stick with it. Also please share my condolences with your family. Isn't it reassuring, though, to know where he is now and Who he's with?
